Michael Harding paints are made by hand, using techniques which date back to the days of the Old Masters. There is a very simple reason for this painstaking process. As an artist and painter, Michael Harding wanted to create colors that were true and vibrant, and paint which was beautiful and durable.
The greater the pigment content of a paint the greater the resistance it has to fading. Michael does not use fillers to extend the volume of the oil paint, as he feels it compromises on quality. He believes in providing the artist with an exceptional product, without dilution.
"I will not claim that my paints will turn you into a great painter, but I can promise they will have a profound effect on your work. Your colors will be stronger and richer, and you will find the texture of the paint incomparable. You will love working with them." - Michael Harding
"The Paint is just marvelous. I can't believe how great the warms are and how the cools lay back. It makes me feel like I've been painting with mud until now. This isn't a pitch, its the truth; the paints have literally made me a better artist. They are like painting with light." - George Gallo on Michael Harding Oils
