Fredrix Heavy Duty Stretcher Bars, sometimes called stretcher strips, feature a tongue-and-groove design, which makes assembly super easy. Each stretcher strip measures 2-1/4" × 1-7/16" with a full 1/2" tapered lip for maximum clearance. They are molded from Pine on modern woodworking machines to ensure a smooth and tight fit. Bars can be finger-jointed, and should be free of major knots.
